Dave will be cremated in Chula Vista, California, and laid to rest alongside his late wife in the shared urn he thoughtfully purchased at the time of her passing in 2000.

David Heydon, age 70, of California, passed away on April 9th, 2026.

He was born on June 25th, 1955, in New Mexico and raised in North Carolina until moving to Salt Lake City Utah.

David lived much of his adult life between California, Arizona and Mexico. He worked in metal fabrication for many years and was known by others for his strong work ethic and independence.

He is survived by his son, Matthew Heydon, and Marshall Heydon as well as extended family members. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his late wife Bernice Heydon
